‘Kroken’ chair designed in 1974 by Åke Fribytter.

A beech bentwood sledge construction frame and black leather seat/back-rest, neck-cushion and arm rests.

Leather string detail and brass press buttons.

A chair with an attitude, the iconic  ‘Kroken’ chair is pleasing to

the eyes and extremely comfortable.

A pair of rarely offered model 423 armchairs accompanied by

four model 422 chairs without armrests. 

A sophisticated, iconic and refined set.

The chairs feature slender rosewood frames with slanted dowels

joined to a graceful curved backrest with rounded spokes.

Often mis-attributed to Arne Vodder, but acc. to original Sibast catalogue models 422 and 423 were designed by Helge Sibast.

Hans J. Wegner CH-29 teak sawbuck chairs. Set of six.

Designed by Wegner as early as 1952 this iconic sawbuck shaped 

CH-29 dining chair – called Sawbuck chair due to the leg shape

resembling that of simple sawbucks / saw horses used by carpenters

or woodworkers.

The simple construction provides an incredible comfort and the design

is so appealing and visually unique.

Vintage CH-29 chairs are often found in oak or teak/oak combined

but the teak version is a rare find.

Design: Hans J. Wegner in 1952 for maker Carl Hansen & Søn.

All six chairs are burn-marked, of course.
